Officer's Meeting Notes & 2009-2010 Chapter Goals

Hello Officer's,

 

Attached are the Chapter goals we discussed on 8/14 and the meeting notes for 8/14 and today's meeting (9/15).  I'll send out the bulletin with the schedule of events shortly.

Quick corrections:

Who's bringing what for BBQ:

o        Mario: Charcoal, carne asada, lighter fluid, soda

o        Davina: utensils, water, ice, cooler, salsa for tacos

o        Araceli: Beans

o        Mauricio: napkins, salad (side dish), plates

o        Arianna: Rice, volleyball and net

o        Delia: chips/salsa, tortillas

Next General Meeting

1.       Date:   Wed 10/7/09 @ 6-8pm

2.       Topic:  Importance of SHPE in our Community

3.       Speakers: Margarita Colmenares & Diana Gomez

4.       Location: TBD

5.       Responsible for organizing: ALL

6.    Arianna to contact SHPE guy at Intel as 3rd speaker

Who's bringing cups for sodas? (I'm getting 2-liter bottles, 6 total: 2 coke, 1 diet coke, 2 sprite, 1 orange)
Also, we'll need 3 plastic table coverings since our bbq area has 3 picnic tables.
Tortillas - La Esperanza has fresh made tortillas wrapped in foil. We'll need at least 9 dozen. Delia, if you get sodas I can get tortillas since I'll be in the area getting meat.
Tacos - let's have someone bring cutting board & knife to chop meat after cooking.

Ok I'll bring Sodas instad of the tortillas, salsa and chips. I am thinking of getting one huge bag of chips from costco. I think that should be enough for 30 people and the salsa.
 
I may have some plastic table covering from a past party that we had at the house. I'll check and let you guys know.
 
I'll bring my cutting board and knife. It will be good idea to have at least two cutting boards.
 
I have a couple of lawn chairs. I'll bring them with me.
