SHPE Sacramento,
Bomba Blast is a Region 1 event where SHPE Professional Chapters invite their local SHPE students to participate in a resume writing workshop and mock interview session. This event is typically held before the SHPE Conference to prepare the students for meeting with corporate recruiters and for the career fairs and interviews throughout the year.
Bomba Blast is a Region 1 event where SHPE Professional Chapters invite their local SHPE students to participate in a resume writing workshop and mock interview session. This event is typically held before the SHPE Conference to prepare the students for meeting with corporate recruiters and for the career fairs and interviews throughout the year.
We will present to students on the topics of: effective resume writing techniques; quantifying their accomplishments; and developing their elevator speech. Other topics covered for the students will include resumes types, job targeting and effective cover letters. We will end the event with individual Mock Interview Sessions.
Our 4th annual Region 1 Bomba Blast Resume & Interview Skills Workshop will take place on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 at the Drexel University Graduate Studies Center in Old Sacramento starting @ 8:30AM. Volunteers are greatly needed to make this event a success!

We will start @ 8:30AM with a Networking Breakfast and will continue with our program @ 9:00AM. Every year, we receive positive feedback from the student participants. This year, we expect 30+ students! Your support is greatly appreciated!
