Just read about this video going opensource. Which is good as linux
needs a good opensource video editor.

good catch - overkill for screencasting I would think but would be a
great linux asset. Though there does seem to be some positive movement
in that direction. My Kdenlive experiences have been pretty positive
and Openshot looks to be a step up too for Gnomes.
