Hi Kyran
I know you have a twitter account for showmedo how about an identi
account I dont use twitter and identi is opensource plus you can cross
twit/tweet between them.

Just an idea to consider and join the ubuntu and linux groups if you
do as they have huge following. might be a good way to drive traffic
to showmedo. both viewers and authors.

good idea - identi.ca looks interesting and bigger than I imagined.
Pretty sure I'll be following your suggestion soon as the revamped
site is up. If cross-tweeting is simple, it's a no-brainer.
