questions about passing in the command line

I am trying to use -c from the command line as in the python newbie XP
tutorial,

-c "print 'hello'"

no matter what I do, I keep receiving:


'c' is not recognized as an internal or external command...blah blah
blah

Any idea why this won't work. I am using vista, by the way.

nvm I just answered my own question
