"Strange "rollback" failure of Cisco Nexus 5500" on Show IP Protocols

Strange "rollback" failure of Cisco Nexus 5500 Posted: 01 Sep 2013 12:17 PM PDT Left to right: "Taipei 101" and "International Trade Building (ITB)" Taipei City, Taiwan. After doing "write erase" and reboot, Cisco Nexus 5500 will fail to rollback even to its previously saved configuration files of checkpoints! A friend told me, after the "write erase" and reboot, copy the checkpoint file to running configuration first, and then rollbacks will be successful. It worked for me, although I do not know why!  The error won't show up again even with any further rollbacks! My NX-OS version is "version 5.1(3)N2(1)". If you happen to have similar problem, or you have better workarounds or explanations to this problem, please share with me! Thank you!
