just updated to WP 2.9 and some stuff doesn't work

HI folks, well I bit the bullet and updated to 2.9, and there seems to
be some things that don't work. The little media (insert/upload) bar
at the top of a new post doesn't seem to work. Could it be a
universal problem, or is it just related to my theme?
Also the "tags" button doesn't work. Any ideas?

Difficult to tell the issues without actually seeing it. What theme
are you using?

The Videopress plugins and vPIP certainly had some issues as WP has
continued to update. Eric (unholy knight) updated these plugins here:

For the record, SIAB as a group project feels over in the sense that
people are maintaining themes/plugins that were created.

But the good news is that WP has come a long way in the past 2 years.
It now has the easy updating, the theme/plugin installer, many new
themes to choose from, and so much cleaner. Ultimately that was our
goal from the beginning: make it easy for the newbie to install and
create a good looking videoblog.

Thanks Jay, yes it does seem like the world came around to the ideas
that you and the group came up with. The theme I have is the same one
the Eric built for me long ago, and I still like it alot, but I think
I will just install a plain theme and see if all the issues go away.
If they do then I will have a starting place.

Cool. Eric may be able to point you to the right places since he
customized your site.
Congrats on building that new straw-bale house. Maybe post a link to
your photos here so others can see.
