Minimum sequencing depth for ShortBRED (human fecal sample)

Hello All,

We are planning a sequencing experiment with human gut microbiomes in search for specific enzymes. Does anyone have experience with the quality of the results as a factor of depth (trying to figure out how many samples to multiplex)?
