Liam Pezzano and Mark McGuire-Schwartz

Thursday, January 17, 2019

Liam Pezzano was raised in New Jersey, went to school at St. John's University in Queens, New York.  He has been published in Step Away Magazine, Food4Thought, The Black Hole Review, Infinite Science Fiction, The Odd Magazine, and the esteemed Blink Ink.  He has been nominated for the Best Small Fiction Anthology and for a Pushcart Prize.

Mark McGuire-Schwartz sometimes imagines that he was raised by bears, and it shows.  He is the originator of a new poetic form, called the 17.  Mark’s books of poetry include Loss and Laughs, Love and Fauna and 289, a book of 17s.  His book Attic Chest, finding my parents in a dusty box, will be published later this year.  Mark has published poetry and prose in many journals, including Carte Blanche, Blink Ink, Fairfield Review, Connecticut Law Journal, and on the bottoms of rocks. Mark is Co-Director of the Pi-NH Poetry Series.  He teaches at Housatonic Community College.

On the third Thursday of each month, The Poetry Institute Poetry Series celebrates an eclectic mix of poetic voices. Free.  Refreshments.  (And participants are invited to bring something to share.)  Open mic.  Outstanding featured readers.  In a casual setting.  Open to all members of the public (and even others).
