Hi folks,

In the Partners dashboard for an app, under the Payments History section, does anyone know the answers to the following questions about the "Nullify" action for a particular charge:

1. Does it cancel any pending charges - i.e. for a recurring charge that gets nullified, will the owner be charged anything, or is the charge pro-rated for the duration of having the app installed during that period?
2. Same question for a one-time charge - does the shop owner get charged if the charge is nullified before the billing period expires?
3. For a recurring charge, is the charge canceled permanently, or just for the current billing period?

I'm asking because I've offered to cancel charges for a merchant or two who were not 100% satisfied, as long as they let me know within the current billing period. But I realized I'm not 100% sure on what the Nullify button actually does, and I can't find it documented anywhere.

Thanks,
Denis

Hi Denis,

(Nice to run into you last night :)

Nullifying a charge cancels it permanently. Any pending amounts owing will not be collected.
