Cart resource & connection to Customer

Hello

In the API documentation, I see reference to a 'Cart' resource, but
can't seem to access on the ruby api. Also, is there an association
between a cart and the associated customer? I.e. can one find the
associated customer with a cart (assuming customer is registered) or
find the cart from a customer?

Hi Fatima,

If you get the latest Shopify-API off of GitHub (https://github.com/Shopify/shopify_api), you will be able to access the Cart API. We haven't published it in the gem yet. At this time there is no association between Cart and Customer.

What you can do as an interim measure is track the customer by their email; it usually does the trick.

We’re working on more docs for the cart API now.
