Here are some guidelines to follow which you should read before posting a question to the Shopify API Group:

(you must) DO:
  •  Investigate that you're issuing the correct request. This includes making sure that the JSON or XML that you're sending is properly formatted/structured and is correct, similar to the examples in the http://api.shopify.com docs.
  •  Search for general terms related to your question to see if someone has posted it already. Most of the time someone has run into the problem before you have.
  •  **IMPORTANT** Include ALL the relevant details for us at Shopify to help you out. Asking for your shop name, the request you made, the response you received (both HTTP status code and body), the ids that you used, etc should not be polluting the thread but should be in the initial post.

DON'T:
  •  Post general programming questions related to Javascript, using JSONP, etc. Questions must be Shopify API related, and general questions that can be answered by a Google Search and some research should not be asked here.

Following the guidelines above will make this group a lot easier to use and will decrease the time it takes for any issues to get resolved.
