Google Analytics tracking on app store

I've just signed up to the Google Apps Marketplace and found something really useful that would be great for Shopify app developers.

They allow you to provide your GA ID, then they embed it alongside theirs on the app page. This lets me see a vital piece of the conversion funnel:
App store page > install my app > etc.

This also enables me to apply lean principles of experimenting with variants on the app page (obviously not automatic, but at least I can see 'changed these bullet points = 5% increase in install conversions').

Is this something you could do on the Shopify app store? Are other devs interested?

It would be awesome to see just how many people are viewing my app page and not converting. Applying the lean startup method within my app has led to a couple of nice sales in just two weeks, but it's frustrating being unable to scientifically optimize the key piece of my app store listing.

Absolutely I would love Shopify app store to enable Google Analytics
tracking of my app listing - and, while they are at it, how about
KISSmetrics tracking too?

I participate in a number of app stores, and sadly almost all of them
have no features related to analytics - at best they provide a single
number of installs. This makes optimizing our listings VERY tough -
and really, Shopify, isn't that what you want? For us developers to
have the best possible listings that attract the largest number of
installations and sales?

Sure, that sounds like a great idea.
