Webhooks deactivated for our app

Hi,

We recently received a lot of Webhook error notifications with error 502, and it seems that they have been deactivated for our app as a result (Recomatic recommendation app). As suggested by the Shopify team, we have implemented a processing queue for speeding up the response delay and prevent this from happening again. But with Webhooks deactivated we have no way to test it. Is there a delay before the Webhook traffic is resumed?

Hi Daniel,

The issue should now be resolved. We usually only 'black-hole' misbehaving apps for a short time, but for some reason yours didn't get reinstated when it should have. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your help. One question though: will the missed Webhoooks be send again or do we have to specifically retrieve the missing data?

We've been having the same, and find ourselves constantly deleting and recreating webhooks to try to work around this issue.

The webhooks will not be resent.
