Dear shogi friends,
let me invite you to the 11th annual (skipped two years due to corona) Slovakia Shogi Open tournament, which will take place at the venue called 'HUB Bratislava', in Bratislava on Saturday 4th of November.

The venue is located on the western side of Danube, in a district called Petržalka, reachable from the City Centre by a bus, or about half an hour by foot(depending on starting location). Venue provides mineral water, coffee and tea free of charge.

Location: HUB Bratislava, Černyševského 10, Bratislava

Tournament system: Swiss system, 5 rounds, even games, 30 minutes with 30 seconds byoyomi.

Starting fee: 15 EUR

Prizes: 1st place: Guaranteed 50 EUR for winner
Prize for best non-rated player
More prizes in case of higher number of participants

08:30-09:00 - registration
09:00-10:30 - 1st round
10:30-12:00 - 2nd round
12:00-13:00 - lunch break
13:00-14:30 - 3rd round
14:30-16:00 - 4th round
16:00-17:30 - 5th round
17:30-18:00 - prize giving ceremony
18:00 - beer, playing shogi, dinner...
