As a foreign visitor, why should you come to Goteborg?
1. This is a good opportunity to play a tournament before the European Championship in Krakow, Poland, which will use a similar format as the SOSC.
2. You can follow the tough fight among the Swedish players to win the fourteenth Swedish Championship.
3. In the beginning of May, spring or early summer is wonderful in Goteborg with all its must-see places and beautiful people. Now there is even some statistical evidence of what I have written many times in the past: http://www.thelocal.se/23226/20091112/.
Welcome!
Martin Danerud
President of the Swedish Shogi Federation
