We are thrilled to invite you to the 30th edition of the Colmar Shogi Open, taking place on September 26th & 27th, 2026!

Whether you are a total beginner or an experienced high-dan player, our open tournament guarantees exciting, balanced games for everyone in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

For this 30th edition, we plan to keep some surprises for the participants in order to celebrate this milestone.

    Dates: Saturday, Sept 26 & Sunday, Sept 27, 2026

    Format: MacMahon system – 6 rounds (45 min + 30 sec byoyomi)

    Location: Colmar, France (View on Google Maps)

    Expected Attendance: ~50 players from across Europe and beyond
