Better than the wave inspire 9. Bigger toe box, more support. My new shoe.
By Kindle Customer
I'm an over pronator. Worn the mizuno wave inspires for years. Thought about switching because the 9 didn't have enough room in the toe box. I run 5-11 miles per run. I'm a heel striker. This shoe gives a little more support in the mid sole than the 9s (at least to me). I love more room in the toe box. It is also lighter than the 9s. I've ran up to 9 miles in them and put a total of 50 miles on them so far. No blisters and my feet feel good after I run. They are a keeper. More colors out in 2014.

Fixed all my issues
By MelanieF
I decided to get a stability shoe after I increased my weekly mileage and started fighting some mild knee and hip pain. I wore these right out of the box and didn't need to break them in. My pain went away immediately and I've already run over 150 miles in these shoes this year. I had considered the Mizuno Wave Rider 17s but I knew as an over-pronator, I'd really see the benefits of a stability shoe when I run on concrete sidewalks 30 miles a week. These fit true to size and the extra room in the toebox was also an unexpected benefit as my feet no longer go numb or get tingly during long runs! I will buy these shoes again and again. My ONLY complaint upon buying was the color selection and at this point I wouldn't care what color this shoe came in.

Mizuno finally got it right!
By dovergirl
I have faithfully stuck with Mizuno Wave Inspire thru the good and very bad iterations since the Inspire 4. I was about ready to give up on them after the 8's that seemed to be too stiff and over-engineered for pronation to the point where I was supponating. Decided to give the Inspire one more shot and try the 10s before I jumped ship and so very glad I did. The redesign of this shoe is by far the best ever! Fit is perfect...no pinching, rubbing or tight spots. Flexibility, comfort, and support are just right for a moderater pronator, they feel so much lighter than previous versions. Also like they may have a bit more cushion at the forefoot. Felt like old, broken in shoes out of the box. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is due to the fabric of the upper. It is so thin you can feel the cold air in the winter. I will need to wear a heavier sock to run below 40 degrees, but will be great in the summer. I may order another pair for the shelf...just in case Mizuno decides to change something again. I highly recommend the Wave Inspire 10.
