I have a solid background in Psych and some history as an almost PsyD
– the reason I am writing today is if you look up in Google research
shoe fetish you get and extensive result that includes papers that
read as if the researchers have little clue about the real world and
day to day sex lives of the people they write about. I am convinced
that many so called fetishists that are in these articles, with the
exception of those that exclude all other social contact, are
overstated, exaggerated, and defy the test of reality.

As for shoe fetishes – so what, does anyone really care, or is anyone
who has discussed their fetish with their partner hurt by these
passions? Every hooker can tell you about boot men that come to them
because their wives won’t tolerate the fetish. This is quite frankly
absurd because far too many relationships are devastated that do not
need to be because of one simple golden rule – tell your partner about
your passions, early, explicitly, and in a way that they can accept
and are not surprised. They can accept or move on. Believe me if you
have a fetish it won’t go away no matter which of those researchers
talk with you. It is like being gay, it is hard wired.
