登录失败，到哪里可以看到错误日志？

我用的是ubuntu13.04 desktop，安装完oracle-xe 11gR2，重启后，就无法登录系统了，症状为输入密码之后登录，屏幕闪一下就又退回到登录界面了。

可以启动oracle-xe服务，也可以连上oracle-xe。

按ctrl+alt+F1用文字界面login是可以的。

删除oracle-xe后就可以登录系统了。

现在想知道可以从哪里查到错误日志。

dmesg看过，好像就只有启动时的日志，登录后发生的问题没有记录。

tail /var/log/auth.log

ls -ltr /var/log 看最新的

闪一下退出可能是你的.xsession之类的出问题，试试用twm登陆看看。

ls -lah ~/ 看看有什么，仔细看.x*, .login, .profile 之类的登陆控制脚本

非常感谢，在~/.xsession-errors里找到原因了，在设置环境变量的地方有这样一段代码
export NLS_LANG=`$ORACLE_HOME/bin/nls_lang.sh`
执行的结果是SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.AL32UTF8，带一个空格，会报错。前后加一个双引号就行了。
export NLS_LANG="`$ORACLE_HOME/bin/nls_lang.sh`"
