Dear Madam/ Sir,

Centre for Political Courage (CPC), supported by the Regional Research
Promotion Programme (RRPP), is organizing the training on “Writing
effective policy papers to influence decision-making (PPW)” which will
take place on 25-26 October 2013 at the University of Prishtina, Faculty
of Philosophy.

The overall aim of the training is to equip participants with the
knowledge and resources to develop their skills in writing effective
policy papers as tools to influence decision-making.

The two day training will be delivered by Lidija Dimova, executive
director of the “Macedonian Centre for European Training”, and Neda
Korunovska president of the think tank “REACTOR: Research in Action".

CPC invites Kosovan individual researchers and individuals from
universities, research institutions, think-tanks, independent
policy-making institutes and other institutions dealing with research to
apply for this two day training.

Please find attached to this email a detailed description of the
training and the application form.

Filled in application forms should be sent by email no later than by
4th of October 2013. Applications received after the deadline will not
be considered.

Please note that the selection of applicants (who will take part at the
training) will be made based on the applications provided.

Criteria for selection of participants are the following:
- Qualifications (priority MA graduates and PhD candidate);
- Completing a piece of research that is also policy-relevant (research
topic);
- Disposing of research results planned to be used for
policy-development and policy-related activities;
- Overall quality of application, including English;
- Gender balance in the workshop.

We will inform all applicants about the selection process by 18th of
October 2013.

Please notice that the training will be delivered only in English
language.
