pls buy following pooja items

1)baba's photo(dont buy idol)

2) yellow colour cloth of about one metre.

3) sai baba vrat katha

 

u have to do 9 thursday fasting.

 

In the morning , do the pooja as mentioned below.

· Put Yellow Cloth in front of you and place SAI BABA’s Photo or Statue on this cloth.

· Light lamp (diya) in front of BABA’s picture.

· Wash or wipe BABA’s picture with clean water and cloth.

· Put “tikka (Bindi on the forehead)” with “kumkum” (red powder) on BABA’s face.

· Offer Yellow Flowers to BABA.

· Offer Fruit or Sweets to BABA as Naivadhya (Prasad) .

· Read this SAI Vrat katha story and Read / Sing SAIBABA’s Aarti after finishing Pooja and reading story.

· Tell BABA why you are doing this Vrat and ask him to fulfill your wish.

· Give Prasad to all your friends and family members and you also eat it some.

· If, because of any reason, you cannot do vrat on any Thursday, skip that Thursday and continue from the next Thursday.

· If female is doing this Vrat, skip the Thursday during Menstrual Cycle period.

 

.In evening do the aarti of sai baba again.

 

On these Nine Thursday, individual who is doing vrat can eat fruit/milk/sweets etc. all day long or can have one meal a day. ONE MUST NOT DO THIS VRAT WITHOUT EATING ANYTHING. u can take full meal after evning aarti if u want.but entire day only fruits,milk,dry fruits, tea ,coffee etc.

If possible, go to SAI BABA’s temple to have SAIBABA’s darshan on these Nine Thursdays.

but u have to go to sai baba temple on 9th thursday for sure.

On the 9th Thursday, Celebrate SAI VRAT. In this celebration process, feed 5 poor people and distribute this SAI VRAT book among people. One can give 5, 11 or 21 books.etc. these books have to kept in front of sai baba photo and kumkum to be applied on alland then distributed.

baba nevr wants his devotees to starve or remain empty stomach entire day.If u read sai satcharita it is mentioned that one cannot achieve god thru empty stomach.but baba always advice devotees to eat less. and wen u fast u eat fruits , tea etc .u r not empty stomach and at the same time u eat little less compared to normal days. dont starve ur self, just eat as much as body requires.

 

u can start from 26th jan 2012.u have to fast for 9 thursdays.

i do all the things by placing water and sm sweets to baba and do the
aarthi in the morning, i dont take anything in the morning except
coffee , then in the afternoon i take my rice and in the night i take
fruits and coffee or sm times roti is this correct, i do read sai
satcharitra and write sai ram please do tell me is there any procedure
i dont do aarthi in the night cz i reach home late after my work,
otherdays daily i do pooja . to baba daily

sai baba vrat katha (story) has to be read on fasting day. It is must. u can buy the book.If not available u tell me . best way is to take fruits coffee,tea ,dry fruits ,banana /mango shake entire day whenever u feel hungry. and wen u come back in evning try to do aarti and then take proper dinner(roti sabji /rice) .

good afternoon.u have written," i have done thursday but not entire fasting". i didn't get it. sai vrat katha has to be read only if u do fasting else not. u can read sai kavach, sai bavani, sai chalisa,sai sat charita as u desire.And dear devotee u can do sai pooja daily, there is no need to wait for thursday. also no need to stop any pooja after 9 thursday fast. these things can be read daily and as many times as u want.baba needs devotion and nothing else. small mistakes are always forgiven.

 

One message for all who do fasting is after doing pooja on thursday" do offer some dakshina " to baba's feet asking him pardon for any mistakes and then later give that dakshina in temple.

As far as I know banana should not be taken on thursday.i was told this by pandit ji in sai mandir.i am also doing baba's thursday vrat. Please if anybody can guide me whether v can eat after udhyapan normal salt food or it is not to be taken as some say v can eat and some say no to it.and shd I complete 9vrats nd do udhyapan on 10th thursday.i am really confused.please guide me.

u can take normal salt food or if u want sendha salt(fast salt) ,there is no problem with it. both are ok. udyapan has to be done on 9 th thursday. as far as i know banana can be taken, reason is banana should not be taken if u do vishnu ji thursday fast as banana plant is worshipped in that case. but here in sai baba vrat there is no such rule and hence banana can be taken and offered to sai baba as well.
