    >Words By AuthorShri Sai Satcharitra is the holiest scripture among Sai
    Devotees throughout world like Gita, Bible, Quran, etc. in their respective
    religions. It was written by Shri. Anna Saheb Dabholkar alias Hemadpant in
    poetry form known as OVI in marathi containing 51 chapters and epilogue and
    epitome. The writer was personally blessed by Shri Sai Baba Himself by
    putting Udi on his forehead and placing His Holy Hand on his head, thus
    saying, "You are only an instrument. I will write My Leela Myself for
    welfare of devotees". After completing few chapters, when Hemadpant gave
    them in the hands of Shri Baba, He had a glimpse of bunch of paters and
    said, "Alright" ("Thik Hai" in Hindi).

    >About half a century ago, Shri Shivram Thakur translated it into Hindi
    which is the most popular scripture among hindi speaking devotees till date.
    But Shri Thakur in his effort to make it condensed and handy, reduced size
    of book by one third. Hence my mentor persuaded me to translate the Holy
    Book Ovi to Ovi and word by word with sincerity and devotion under his
    guidance to keep originality of scripture intact as much as possible. After
    two years of honest, sincere and devoted efforts it was
    completed to entire satisfaction of my mentor to bless it also before his
    demise.
