Center City Crew Rides

OK, now I need help. There were many replies about rides to trains and to homes in Center City that I think we need to be a bit more organized so we don’t leave kids behind and offers to be part of the pool.

 

We should probably come up with a schedule for rides with the number of spots available. Any ideas on how to best set up a Center City driving schedule?

 

Certainly, the kids should communicate with parents in the morning about rides and remind the kids to tell the captains or the bus chaperones about their plans so that everyone knows who is going where.

I can try to set something up in signup genius but it looks like we'd at least need the names of the people who want to actually do the driving along with the dates they can drive plus the number of passengers they'd be willing to carry. From there, slots can be filled. 

As not to bombard the whole group with the messages, we'd need a sub-group of sorts. If anyone that wants to participate as a driver of car pool can email to me directly their names, that would be a good start. Please email to me your name and the dates you can drop off in center city.  I am also thinking that doing this for a couple of weeks in advance at a time might be best to start as individuals driving schedules/commitments may change. 

Thanks so much to those willing to carpool and share rides. It means so much to those of us whose rowers appreciate the ride. 

If anyone else knows a better way to do this, feel free to jump in.

I can drive Bria plus 4 kids on Mondays 3/6/17, 3/13, 3/20

We will be in Miami for Spring Training 3/23-4/1/17 and will return to the river on 4/3/17.

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately I was not able to find a way within signup genius to do carpools with multiple drivers, riders and multiple logins. Tried to find a carpool app but wasn't successful. With training starting on Monday, it might be best for the rowers to coordinate amongst themselves. If I or anyone else can figure this out, please get back to the group. So far the available volunteers to drive that I received are Becky Naib to Suburban Station and Lakeisha Wilson to 30th St. on certain dates.

That is correct. Last year I took 4 girls with me and they just coordinated among themselves and made the captain aware.

Hi all,

Just to clarify, the only place in the city that I won't drop off is 30th Street.  It is too crazy at that time of day. I am fine driving to places in addition to Suburban Station :)  I can take three kids in addition to Savannah on these dates:
