RMySQL and Shinyapps

I started an app which access my local MySQL database and extract data. When I run the shiny app in the local environment it displays without any error but when I try to deploy the application It shows an error.

So how can I connect shinyapp to the database using RMySQL?

Hello, is your mysql db available outside your local environment? Does it have an IP address or dns address?

Actually it's a locally installed MySQL server. I tried remote server as well by putting the IP address as host in dbConnect(), but it did not work. So my question  is it possible to connect to a database using RMySQL and  shinyapp?

It is absolutely possible, but as Chad was hinting at, your database has to be accessible from outside your environment.  When an app is pushed to the cloud, it will no longer be running on your machine, which means that it will need a way to get to the database.  Typically, that would mean that you need to have your database somewhere that is accessible over the internet.
