How do I upload documentation?

Hello everyone!

I'm a little confused about how the function "deployApp()" understands the borders of the app to upload. In my ui.R file, I have a link to help/index.html (my slidified doc file), made with

tags$a(href="help/index.html", "Read the Documentation!"),

But, when I try and click, the link is broken, because the html file is missing on the Shinyapp server.

How should that work?
Or I'm just not supposed to upload on shinyapp any non-shinyapp file?

I think the easiest thing for you to do is to put help/index.html
under the www directory of your app. This file is probably not missing
on ShinyApps, but the link does not work because shiny does not allow
arbitrary links without pre-registering the URL prefix (see
?shiny::addResourcePath).

Hi,

I was searching for solution to include readme/documentation as link in my shinyapp.  I have deployed one in shinyapp.io but now want to add the href to the doc.html supposedly at the same level with ui.r and server.r

also, since i'm developing using rstudio on windows, how do I make the code work in windows and shinyapps.io

I believe you want to put the doc.html under a www directory that you create below the ui.R/server.R files.
