change password

Is it possible for the user to change their password from inside the app? So basically, after the user as logged in, they could confirm the current password and create a new password and this would update without any manual steps from me.

Josh,

This currently isn't supported. However, we've gotten a lot of feedback about the application authentication feature so we may overhaul it in the future to make it easier to do things like this. Stay tuned for more info on that.

We will definitely be changing the existing authentication system, but it is probably a few months away right now.  If you have a list of must and nice to have features, please don't hesitate to share them with us.

Hi Josh,

We had to delay working on the auth work for about a month as we had to support a course taught on Coursera.  I am hopeful that we will have support for our new authentication system by mid-August.

Hi Josh,

Unfortunately we prioritized other work that gives people better visibility into the usage of their applications and additional reliability work ahead of it right now.  It is still on our list of work but it will be a bit later in the year before we have it unfortunately.
