Hi,

I’m trying shinyapps.io, and I find that Chinese characters cannot be displayed in ggplot2 plots.

By calling fc-list :lang=zh-cn, noting comes out, so I guessing no Chinese fonts are installed on the server? How can I fix this, and I hope there be some basic fonts ready for various languages.

Hello,
Sorry to say that we don't install Chinese fonts by default on our servers, but that is something we plan on addressing in the future.

Hi.

I have same problem. I can not display Chinese character on my plot deployed in shinyapps.io.

Please install Chinese fonts on your server as soon as possible.

Or, if you know some way to solve this problem, could you explain for me?

Thank you for reading.
