Dear all,

I am trying to host a ShinyApp on glimmer.rstudio.com but it keeps giving me the same error message in the title. What should I do to get rid of it? Thank you very much.

Best,
Ziyuan

Does this same error happen no matter what file you try to upload? Are you using the Upload button on the Files tab?

1. Yes, server.r / ui.r / mydata.rdata / everything.zip
2. Yes, I don't know other ways.

Can you give me your exact browser type and version, and also OS? Thanks.

To supplement, it's Windows 7 Ultimate SP1

It works on my Ubuntu. But one of my rdata file names has the letter "λ", which is not correctly handled with. And now I cannot do anything to the file because the connection cannot be established.

Or can Joe Cheng delete the file for me?

I deleted the file--it wasn't that easy :) What ended up working for me was this tip, which you can execute yourself from RStudio under Tools | Shell:

I wonder if the problem before was due to the lack of disk space. Can you try again now under Windows? (I couldn't get the problem to reproduce, although I only tried it after upgrading the storage on the server.)

Thanks for your effort! But the error remains on Windows. And If I upload files from my Ubuntu/Debian OS, it will report "Permission denied"

It seems that I cannot rename, delete files or make new folders too.

Joe Cheng, have you found out what is going wrong? Thanks for your help.

Please try now, I think I caused a file ownership problem when I was moving things around.
