Downlaoding .rda file form internet

Downloading .rda files form internet locations gives error: 

Error: the input does not start with a magic number compatible with loading from a connection

How do we resolve this?

I am trying:

con3 <- url("https://doc-0g-ag-docs.googleusercontent.com/docs/securesc/xyz=download")

mym <- load(con3); close(con3)

where my file at link is myfile.rda

I don't think you can download file use that link.

Hello,

I joined this conversation because i am facing the same problem. I am trying to download a .RData workspace from a blob storage, and to load it in, but i get the same error....
Any hints, or ways around this?
