Dear all,
After I finish a simulation using a Shiny application I'd like to print the web report in a PDF file. Well, like a PDF report but without using the browser ability to do. Instead I'd like to do it internally in Shiny or R, is there exist any simple command to do that?

I know that knitr exists but then it would be necessary to rebuild again the report, wouldn't be? Any alternative to convert Shiny web display into a PDF file?

All the best,

Campa,

I have a similar issue coming up, my current plan was to write a Sweave document which would run on the last available saved reactives.  This creates a .tex document which can be converted to a .pdf with a pdflatex command (running the command twice in order to give figures their proper figure numbers, if applicable when not hard coded into it).

Though if there was a better solution, I would love to see it- I would be especially interested in a mechanism which would capture all of the tabs simultaneously to take a snapshot, both visually and code-wise, of all the selected options/subsetting to create a reproducible document.

+1 ..I have a similar need to give my user the ability to download a current shiny page as a PDF without using the browser save as function.
