Simple Shiny Server Redirect

How do I set up my configuration to automatically redirect from on location in the server directory to another? I mean, suppose I have already a configuration file in place and just want to add a redirect while I do some maintenance on an app. I looked at the administration guide but it still didn’t click.

I am referring to the Shiny Server configuration file.

Just comment out everything in the location you want to redirect from and put a redirect directive in there instead:

http://rstudio.github.io/shiny-server/latest/#redirecting
