Hi,

We did tag the 2.4 release the 4 may :)

Nothing critical was founded since the rc4, but it's better to update to the release if you are running in rc4 :)

You can have a look at the blog post about it at http://shinkenlab.io/release-2-4/ ^^

Hi,

You can test RPM version 2.4 on
https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/hvad/shinken/. Warning this is
unofficial Fedora/EPEL package not use on production.

Best regard

Is there anyone working on a debian package? I'd hate to duplicate efforts.

there is a git repo of the people packaging for debian available
(git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-shinken/shinken.git),
but:

$ python setup.py --command-packages=stdeb.command debianize
$ dpkg-buildpackage -b -rfakeroot

in the git tree did what it should (thanks again to the devel's for the fixes
there) and produces a nice .deb for installation and the first test
showed it's running.

Have a nice weekend,
greetings
Hermann
