as a shinken user on debian the above message is a major drawback to
the hope of propagating shinken into the debian community.

While looking throught the link above I noticed one person (see cc)
volunteered (thanks to you) to be the debian shinken maintainer, but
asked for help.

Some help with testing I may provide, but any other ideas on that subject ?

Hello,

From my point of view, we shouldn't focus on putting shinken into official debian "repo".
We should focus on creating on our "own" debian repository.
