Hello/salam alaikum ShINErs,

Thanks esther, no i hadn't.

Nabeel and Khadijah, do you want to check the photo and let me know if you are ok with mark using the photo/article. I will then reply to him.

Also Hellen has confirmed the activity during the easter holidays.

Friday 11 -1PM. Litter pick and walk along river to salmon pastures. Bring a picnic. Hellen also has some activities for the childen if there is time left at the end. I will send out an email with meeting times nearer the day. This is a family event so please feel free to bring along family and friends...the more hands, the better!...plus the kids are usually better litter pickers than the grown ups!

Assalamu alykum all,

Hope you are all well.
Not sure if you received this email. Could you please reply to Mark about this. Thank you.
We are all doing well here in Palestine and are settling in well here, alhamdulillah.
Sorry I am missing all the great activities you guys have organised. They sound fantastic, mashaAllah.
May Allah reward you all for your hard work.

Salams,
Esther

P.S. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help from here.

Dear Esther

Assalamu alaikum,

As you may remember we contacted you in 2010 regarding research we were carrying out with Cardiff University for Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) on the impact and potential of Islamic Gardens in the UK.

Your organisation has featured in the report as a case study of the positive environmental work that has been undertaken by Muslim Groups in the UK. Thank you for your co-operation and contribution to our research.

BGCI are keen to publish the report on their website and for this reason I am asking for you permission to use the attached picture from your website in the report.

We would appreciate you getting back to us on this as soon as possible as the report it otherwise ready to go on the website.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

With thanks and best wishes

Mark Bryant

Wa Alaikum Assalaam (and Peace be upon you),

On behalf of our family I’m happy for the picture to be used… sorry for the delay.

Also, for the Friday 13th April get together I’m afraid the team that provides all our litter picking equipment will have been disbanded by then due to the recent austerity measures. I’ve got various litter picking things so I’ll make sure I bring those but it’ll mean no litter pickers L (the equipment not the humans J)

Peace

Nabeel
