Hi All, I’ve had this through from the Green Party; An excellent event if people can get involved:
Join our Community Litter Pick: Sunday 25th November, 12-3pm
We’ve organised a Community Litter Pick on Sunday 25th November to collect litter in various roads in Sharrow. Hopefully, lots of residents will join us that day to help tidy up the area. It would be great if you could help too, please! We know that local residents want less litter on their streets; and we've already asked for more litter bins and street cleaning in the area. Also, we’ve talked to residents about the new alternate week bin collections.
The Litter Pick is from noon to 3pm on Sunday 25th November. People who want to take part should meet outside the Old Junior School at the Sharrow Lane end of South View Road at noon or join us on the street. Dress warmly; and please bring gloves if you can and refreshments if you want.
