shine events

hello shiners.

Hope you are all well. Following todays meeting we wondered if people could have athink about our main event on 10th June at western park bandstand for environment week.For the past 2 years we have held an event in the bandstand which has been very successful. We have usually aske dpeople to bring food to share, childrens craft activities  to do with nature and the environment, park rangers have supported us with activities such as birdbox building, pot planting etc. The event is open to the general public, so we definately need as many pairs of hands as possible.

 

We would like to do some different events this year and so we are asking members to forward any ideas, themes they would like to see or special requirements to make this year even better, god willing.

 

We are also hoping to arrange an activity for the easter hols, probably the 2nd week of April. TBC.

 

Please let me have your ideas by the end of February so we can start looking at organizing the event.

any type of paper or any type of card  you cut it up soak it in water then put it in the press and make a paper log we you could make a load  for the event so they are already dried and any child making one from the the mushed up paper could take a dry one  home with them
