I believe that delivery of the Aquatic Prime license file can be
improved. Right now, delivery of the license file is done by a web
page which gets called by PayPal after a successful payment. It seems
that people believe that once the payment is made, they don't need to
"hang around" until that page is revealed. If the AP license file gets
lost in email (which seems to happen fairly often), then the user has
a really bad experience.
I think it would be helpful to have a convenient way to get he URL for
the return page (i.e. the one that PayPal sends you to) so that it can
be pasted into an email for a better "self-service" experience. I
created a custom URL handler for MemoryMiner that knows how to
download and install the license file. It's a lot easier for a user to
click on a link in an email or web page, than to futz around with
email attachments.
In the longer term, I think integrating the purchase page in a WebKit
view in one's app would work even better because you could make sure
that the license file is delivered and installed properly.

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but it sounds like the
desire for a quality in app purchase experience is a shared one.

I had a look at Cocoa Boutique and it looks nice. I know that Kevin
Hoctor, author of Money Well and contributor to Cocoa Boutique has
been looking at Shine may now be interested in integrating the two.
The nice thing about Shine is that it's definitely pluggable so that
you're not locked into any particular component be it payment
processing or license delivery. The more implementations the better.
