I don't understand why I am not logged in after registration..

Also the 'You have registered' message comes up in red - as if it's an
error

Hi Mannie,

The right-hand menu bar is down at the bottom of the page in my browser
- sometimes I can't see it until I scroll

Hi,

We will change that in due time to allow you to stay logged in. Would
you be able to report this as a bug by adding it to the list at http://code.google.com/p/mygrid-shims-library/issues/list
please.

Thanks,
Mannie

Hi Katy,

What browser and operating system are you using? Would you also be
able to report this as a bug please. To do this, visit http://code.google.com/p/mygrid-shims-library/issues/list
and add a new issue.

Thanks,
Mannie

Hi Mannie (and Finn),

Its looking nice!

I like the idea of finding a shim by the flanking services. I think a
nice addition to this would be to find all the shims that have been
linked to a particular service (i.e. by trawling over existing workflows
as well as by looking at semantic types and data formats)

A search by input/output data format/semantic type would be useful

A field for example inputs and outputs would also be handy

Cheers,

Katy

The support for extraction of services linked to a beanshell and vice
versa has been built into the gems (but has not been perfected yet).
However, we do not have enough information to conclude whether the
linked services are shims or not. What things, specific to shim
services that do not apply to non-shim services, should we look out
for? In addition, could you please give a few examples of shim
services; some that you know are definitely shims, and some that you
suspect to be shims.

> A search by input/output data format/semantic type would be useful

Do you mean filtering down results to a more specific criteria (in
effect, an advanced search option), or do you mean something else?

> A field for example inputs and outputs would also be handy

We will look into this soon.
