Few notes after a quick glance:
- you need a 'submitted by' in case the person who submitted it is
not the creator of the shim.
- submitted shim should have a minimum info. I think the description
is a key point and should be mandatory.
- the class you assign a shim service to when you are uploading it
doesn't seem to appear anywhere. i would love to search by class.
- 'expand all/hide all' under category doesn't seem to do anything.
- the categories list needs some review: things like net or metadata
don't make too much sense.

Note taken; we will look into the ownership aspect of shims in more
detail.

Apart from the description, is there any other information you deem
vital and should be mandatory?

In order of preference, would you be able to provide us with a list of
the fields by which you prefer to browse shims?

The 'expand all/hide all' links should, effectively, expand or
collapse the category hierarchy; since there are not sub-categories,
nothing appears to be happening. I suppose I should have mentioned
this somewhere at an earlier point in time; my apologies.

I agree, some categories don't make much sense at all. With your
help, we would like to use more appropriate and meaningful categories
in the library. Your input on which categories (and/or sub-
categories) you consider appropriate would be greatly appreciated.
Just a thought; would some of the classes (you assign to shim services
at upload) best serve as categories or classes?
