The first developer alpha is out the door. You can get it here,
http://cloud.github.com/downloads/ShiftSpace/shiftspace/shiftspace-dev-alpha-1.tar.gz.
You don’t need git at all to use it. Other than that you should still
follow the other dependency instructions given here:
http://wiki.github.com/ShiftSpace/shiftspace/installation. It should
be stable enough to develop/update spaces. There may be issues/bugs
that we are not aware of- please let us know and we’ll update
the .tar.gz.
Known Issues
* Many, many, interface glitches
* Most 1.0 features missing (Groups, Following, filtering shifts)
* Commenting doesn’t work
* Publish pane buggy, however you can publish shifts and delete them
