I'd prefer to not install all of the xcode stuff. I have gcc
installed through a separate standalone solution. Is there any way to
build the shiftit.app without installing xcode?

Sorry - there is no way to build Cocoa apps without Xcode. But I
believe Filip posted a version of ShiftIt on MacUpdate a while back.

Hi,
I'm sorry, I don't really know why, but I never received any email from this group (while I created it). Anyway, I just finished doing some updated. You can now download a "development version" of ShiftIt 1.6 (https://github.com/fikovnik/ShiftIt/downloads).
