Can"t connect: USER [redacted] 331 Password required for [redacted] PASS ****** 530 Login incorrect.

Password is entered in the password field for connecting to the site. Tried creating a new site as well, just to be sure. For whatever reason, shiftEdit isn't sending the pass.

It's sending it but the login is being rejected.

Does the login work in other ftp e.g. filezilla?

I don't have any problems connecting with Filezilla. I did check a few of my other sites - the only ones that are having issues are from a particular web host. Any suggestions on why they aren't accepting the pass?

As a side note, I copy/pasted the error from ShiftEdit, and I just noticed that can''t should be can't.

I'm not sure what's causing this. I guess there some logging or packet sniffing at the receiving end could reveal what's going on.
