[Shib-Users] Cannot connect to shibd process

Hi,

I'm setting up a new SP and I ran into this problem which I don't know
how to resolve.

shibsp::ListenerException

The system encountered an error at Mon Sep 21 15:21:13 2009

To report this problem, please contact the site administrator at
root@localhost.

Please include the following message in any email:

shibsp::ListenerException at (https://[hostname]/secure)

Cannot connect to shibd process, a site adminstrator should be notified.

I've checked httpd.conf, shibboleth2.xml, and specified absolute path to
shibd.sock, but nothing worked. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank
you.

If you're sure shibd is running and you're on GNU/Linux have a look at
/var/log/audit/audit.log or wherever SELinux writes its log. Maybe
this is getting in the way.
