YIMBY Festival
Career Skills incubator attended YIMBY 2015 at Ryerson University on Saturday October 31st. Over 100 groups attended to share their ideas about the community and to meet with one another. Our own volunteers dressed up in different occupational costumes that added to the fun.

Silent Auction
Look out for the annual CSCI online silent auction starting mid-November! Our auction items will include resume workshops, marketing consultations, professional photography and many more! Our goal is to provide a positive and productive job search experience through mentorship, networking and skill building.
These items would be great holiday gifts!
All funds raised will help us cover our expenses so that we can impact more people in Toronto and beyond!

Mentor Matching Manager
Our innovative mentorship program encourages even less experienced professionals to try their hand at supporting other to reach their own career goals. We’re looking for someone who will help us match mentors with their future mentees based on interest, skills and preferences. If you fancy yourself a bit of a matchmaker and want to facilitate the creation of nurturing professional relationships, we want to hear from you!
Graphic Designer
Are you an artist with a designer’s eye looking for a chance to sharpen your graphic design skills and build up your portfolio? We are looking for a volunteer with some graphic design experience (any HTML and CSS experience a plus)! You’ll also get to meet and work with really awesome people. Show us some samples!
Marketing & Communications Volunteers
Are a social media enthusiast and people-person? Can you turn a phrase with the best of them and know just how to get your message across despite the ever-present endless clutter of the web? Are you rolling your eyes because you could have written a far better job posting? Then you absolutely need to get your resume to us and let us know how awesome you are!
Contributing Writers
A new CSCI blog and website are in the works. If you are a writer looking for a space to publish articles about career paths, mentorship, non-profits, work culture, work/life balance, or if you know someone who is, get in touch with our Marketing team lead. This is a great chance to work with an experienced editor who will help you polish your personal style and tuck some real life writing experience under your belt.
