Eid-ul-Ghadeer Celebration
Salaam Alaikum.
This occasion marks an important milestone for the Islamic world and is of particular significance for the followers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). It commemorates the Holy Prophets ( A.S.) last sermon at Ghadir Khumm which occurred on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah 10 A.H., confirming the succession of Imam Ali(A.S.). Over 100,000 companions participated in this historic event that has over 100 unique and identifiable narrators which is considered to be the highest number of eye-witnesses for any recorded event in the Holy Prophet's life!
You and your family are cordially invited to celebrate this momentous and joyous event at the institution on:
Sunday, December 30th
The first half of the program will follow the normal course of events at the madressa which consists of a Qur'an session followed by prayers. Parents are encouraged to participate in the morning session and take the opportunity to interact with the teachers.
