Shevet Shuva 60th Birthday - time for registration!

Dear Shuvaniks,

We have now finalized plans for our wonderful  60^th birthday Shevet Shuva reunion Shabbat, scheduled for December 8-9, 2017 at Kfar HaMacabbiah, a beautiful hotel / conference center in Ramat Gan.  We hope to see all of you there!!

Here are the details:

1. The cost per couple for this amazing weekend at Kfar Hamaccabiah is NIS 1550.  This includes 3 Shabbat meals, coffee and cake before Davening, our own Bet Knesset and our own dining room.  Payment must be made by check made out to Lev HaErua (לב האירוע) and given or mailed to Stuie Fund, 84 Zarchi Street, Jerusalem 9728821.  Tel: 052-325-0600 or 02-586-0477 Checks must be received no later than October 8th. 
2. For those of you coming from abroad, the cost in US dollars is $ 450 per couple.  Only those who will be coming from abroad on a tourist visa may pay in US dollars and by credit card.  Please contact us to arrange for your credit card payment.  We will need to receive a copy of your US passport at the time of registration and upon arrival in Israel, we will need to receive a copy of your entrance visa (the small card you receive at the airport).
3. The cost per person in a double room is NIS 775.  We will do our best to assist you in finding a roommate if you are coming alone.  The cost of a single room is NIS 1347  ($ 385).
4. These prices are based on a minimum registration of 50 rooms

 

We need to have an idea how many of you are planning on coming to this event so that we can responsibly sign a contract with the venue.  A number of us are putting up our own personal funds for a non-refundable deposit to hold the hotel.  Therefore, we are asking you to reply to us ASAP, or at least by the end of the week and let us know if you are coming or not.  If you cannot be sure this week, at least let us know if you are likely to come. 

 

We have attached the registration form.  Please fill out the attached form and email it to the above email address.  Then send a hard copy together with your check to the address listed on the registration form.  We do need to receive your completed registration form and full payment no later than October 8^th to ensure your place at the Shuva BASH.  Please note that there are stiff penalties for cancellation, barring an extreme “force majeure” reason for the change.  So please give this some thought and then decide as quickly as possible!
