Has there been any interest across the user group in using the Contaminant component of SHETRAN or even trying the nitrogen (nitrate) module that was developed in a previous version by Steve B?

Hi Russell, the contaminant component is less well used than the sediment component. Recently there has been some interest within Newcastle. An MSc student considered nitrate transport (no transformations) for two catchments west of London. One of which was a chalk catchment. A PhD student was also considering Zinc transport for a catchment in Cumbria. As part of the Water Hub someone is interested in arsenic transport. I think there is lots of potential in using this component.
