Introducing the Green House

The deal:

On Saturday, November 22nd, we, the gentlemen of She Swings, She
Sways, will host the first of what we hope will be many house shows in
Ottumwa. We are calling ours The Green House (or Greenhouse, or
GreenHouse, or Greenhaus, whatever).

The evening will feature three performers. There will be no admission
charged, but we will tenaciously encourage a $5-$10 donation for the
performers (that means you don't technically have to, but it would be
awfully nice).

There will be chairs for sitting. There will be snack foods for
munching. There will be fridge and freezer room available, so please
feel free to bring whatever you would like to drink (byodrink ).

The performers:

Jacob Mathis – Known by many as the owner of The Dungeon, and a long-
time member of the area music community.

Danny Wolf – Songwriter, singer, guitar player, and leader of the band
Wrestling with Wolves.

Stacey McCoy – aka "The Food City Cowboy" – A rare performer: the
southern born, southern raised, Iowa living songwriter.

The mission:

We want to promote the activity of writing and listening to people
play songs. We want to bring people together. We want to encourage
others to open their homes for their own house shows and find new
places for performing and listening to local and touring songwriters.

We open our home at 6:30. Show starts at 7:30.

$5-10 donation requested

Bring something to drink and a friend. Feel free to hang out
afterwards.
