checkout api calls throwing 500 error

Hi, i am following guide from sherpadesk wiki using the mobile app am calling api

String str = "https://api.sherpadesk.com/assets/" + assetTag + "?checkout_id=" + mychekoutid + "&note=" + mynotes + "&location_id=" + mLocation + "&owner_id=" + myownerid + "&format=json";

and offcourse am passing auth in header every other asset moving feature works only this one is not working can you guide me how do i make api calls to get this worked?

Problem with date format

please use date in format Year-MM-DD, ie 2020-09-29
